“Our journey with Symbio is what dreams are made of. After a long stint with one of India’s most respected companies Biocon, we were looking to make it on our own. We were looking to build a respectable API company, one that could go on to compete with names in the big league. We had a modest start but here we are 12 years later, a full-fledged manufacturing, marketing and service organisation, one that has emerged as a formidable player in the API industry.

When we reflect back on Symbio’s journey, we realise that there has been one key driver that has fuelled us; the need to add value. We have always managed to add value to our partners and suppliers. But I am proud to say that we have also added value to our internal stakeholders, our people. We have developed a culture of transparency, learning and sharing. We have built a team of people who share our vision and are walking with us on this journey.

The recent capital infusion from Ascent Capital and the acquisition of our manufacturing facilities sets the tone for the second phase of our journey. We are now confident that it is time to look overseas and make a mark in the international API business.
